Hanoi thrift and vintage shopping guide: the best thrift store in Hanoi for your style

Thrift and vintage clothes shops in Hanoi by neighbourhood, with addresses and hours from each shop's own channels. No ranking, no prices.

The best thrift store in Hanoi depends on what you are hunting for: American workwear and military jackets, Japanese and Korean secondhand, 1990s–2000s streetwear, or soft vintage dresses. This guide lists the thrift and vintage clothes shops that have a profile on Lavie, a Hanoi directory, grouped by neighbourhood, with addresses and opening hours taken from each shop's own channels.

There is no ranking here. Each shop has its own taste, so the order inside each area is only for easy reading. Lavie does not publish prices; they change by item and by season, so ask the shop directly. Where a shop's posts give conflicting opening hours, we leave the hours out and suggest messaging first.

Every shop here has an official Threads account, Facebook page or website that was still posting in autumn 2026, and an address the shop published itself; we do not take addresses from third-party directories. Each name links to the shop's full Lavie profile.

A note on words: in Vietnam you will see "đồ si" (secondhand clothes, often from imported bales), "2hand", "thrift" and "vintage" used almost interchangeably. We use whatever word each shop uses for itself.

The best thrift store in Hanoi's Old Quarter: Dao Duy Tu and around

Hoan Kiem district has the most shops in our directory, and several sit next to each other on Dao Duy Tu street.

The 27 Klub at 34 and 35 Dao Duy Tu focuses on vintage military, outdoor and American workwear, and also sells items under its own "27" label source. Lavie's profile lists hours of 10:00–22:00 daily.

Lộn Xộn Clothing sells on the 2nd and 4th floors of 35 Dao Duy Tu, plus a second spot on Ngo Gieng street. It mixes secondhand with rework and custom pieces, many of them patchwork one-offs source.

Chăn Con Công has three branches: 37 and 11 Dao Duy Tu, and 7A Nha Tho near the cathedral. It sells hand-picked vintage and retro clothing source.

20 Grams Vintage is on the 2nd floor of 49 Hang Trong, open 10:00–22:00. It sells curated secondhand from the US, Japan and Korea, often sports jerseys, long-sleeve tees and 1990s–2000s pieces source.

Angel's House is a women's secondhand shop with two branches, on the 2nd floor of 120 Hang Bong and at 11C Lo Ren. It often posts dresses, graphic tops and Japanese labels source.

Marché Vintage is upstairs in an old French building in lane 24D Tran Hung Dao, open 10:00–20:00. Each piece is one of a kind, styled in neutral, classic tones source.

Vintage Hearts is on the 2nd floor of 28 Hai Ba Trung street (in Hoan Kiem), open 10:00–20:00. It sells hand-picked 1990s–2000s clothing, bags and belts, and has another store in Ho Chi Minh City source.

Vintage clothes shops in Ba Dinh and Dong Da

Khác at 12 Hang Bun lane, Ba Dinh, open 09:00–21:00, says it has been around since 2016. It specialises in used workwear and vintage source. A recruiting post in October 2026 asked for staff who speak basic English because many customers are foreigners source.

Moonie Thriftshop at 3 Chau Long, with a second spot at 54 Quan Thanh, open 10:00–21:00. It leans towards alt fashion: clothes, boots, bags and accessories source.

Weedney at 114 Ngoc Ha posts each item on Threads, mostly early-2000s style tees and jackets. It ships nationwide but says it does not accept returns source.

Misacuccu Vintage calls itself a "Vintage Thrift Home", open 09:00–20:00, with one branch on the 2nd floor of lane 16 Hang Bun and another at A18, lane 12 Lang Ha. Its posts say which branch has which batch, mostly womenswear source.

HaiTay Thrift at 12, lane 23 Cat Linh, Dong Da, open 13:00–21:00 daily, sells early-2000s style tees for men and women, both used and new source.

Dreamer Thriftshop at 27/43 Chua Boc, Dong Da, posts flight jackets, leather jackets and 1990s outerwear, each with measurements and a condition score source. Its posts list two different opening times, so message before you go.

OFC 2HAND at 1A, alley 2, lane 91 Chua Lang, Dong Da, open 09:00–22:00, says it sells both secondhand and new pieces, and posts sweatshirts, long-sleeve tees and bomber jackets source.

No.15 Combination Store at 15 Nguyen Khac Nhu, Truc Bach, Ba Dinh, sells "curated stuffs" and "oddities", both thrift and new, and hosts pop-ups by small sellers source.

Further west in Cau Giay, Lynx Store is a women's thrift shop in room 903, CT3 Yen Hoa Park View, 3 Vu Pham Ham. It also sells flower bouquets and runs craft workshops, and asks customers to message it on Instagram source.

Women's vintage and handmade souvenirs

Diếc Ơi is a women's vintage shop at 1A Tran Xuan Soan lane, Hai Ba Trung, known on its own page for chiffon dresses, blouses and light fabrics; the owner also makes handmade fabric pieces source. A September 2026 post mentions a café on Lac Chinh, so check the current selling address first.

If you would rather buy something new and made in Vietnam, two shops in our directory focus on Vietnamese craft. Craft Link at 51 Van Mieu, near the Temple of Literature, is a non-profit fair-trade shop open 09:00–18:00 daily, selling work by ethnic minority groups and craft villages source source. Tips for thrifting in Hanoi

  • Look up. Many shops are on the 2nd or 4th floor, or down a lane. Open each Lavie profile for the exact floor.
  • Check the branch. Shops with two locations, like Misacuccu or Moonie, often split stock between them.
  • Ask if it is used or new. Several shops, including HaiTay and the Old Quarter shops, sell both.
  • Ask for measurements. Vintage sizing varies a lot; shops like Dreamer list length and width for each piece.
  • Returns. Some shops state clearly that they do not accept returns. Try things on before paying.
  • Prices. Lavie does not list prices; ask the shop directly.
  • Opening hours change. Many shops post updates on Threads, Facebook or Instagram, so check the day you go.
