Local brands in Hanoi: a guide by style, with stores you can visit

Hanoi local brands by style: streetwear, menswear, women's designer labels, slow fashion and craft, each with a Hanoi store and sources.

A local brand in Hanoi is a Vietnamese clothing label you can try on in its own shop. This guide lists the Hanoi local brands on Lavie, a Hanoi shop directory, by what you want to wear: streetwear, menswear for work, women's designer clothes, slow fashion and craft, and vintage shops with their own lines. Each brand has a store in Hanoi, an address published by the brand itself, and a link to the source.

"Local brand" is the everyday Vietnamese word for a home-grown label, and searching it in Vietnamese brings up many "top 10" lists. We do not rank. A label that suits one person may not suit the next, and a list by style helps you choose faster than a score. Lavie does not publish prices, because they change by design and by sale, so ask the brand directly. We last checked that each brand's official channel was still posting on 4 November 2026.

Local brands in Hanoi for streetwear

BOO is a streetwear brand with the slogan "Everyday life on the streets" source. Its website splits the range into menswear, womenswear and lines such as Boozilla and Graphic source. In Hanoi, it has shops at 308 Ba Trieu and 110 Cau Giay, open 9am–10pm, as well as counters in shopping malls source.

DirtyCoins (DICO) was founded in 2017, grew out of an earlier shop called Yars Shop, and describes its aim as bringing hip-hop colour closer to the mainstream source. Most stores are in Ho Chi Minh City; in Hanoi it has Duckzone at 180 La Thanh source. The about page has a timeline of its many collaborations source.

WNS (Why Not Studio) is at 179 Dong Cac and writes "From HaNoi with love" on its Threads profile source. Most pieces carry the WNS logo, and product posts list the sizes and colours in stock source.

21ST URBAN at 52 Dong Cac has its own 21ST URBAN label and also stocks small Asian labels source. Use only the domain 21sturban.com, the shop's official site source.

Lavie has a separate English guide to streetwear and skate shops that goes further into this group.

Menswear for work and smart casual

Highway Menswear is a menswear brand founded in Hanoi in 2012, with the motto "STAY TRUE" source. Its first shop is at 100 Dong Cac source, and its flagship at 109 Lo Duc opened in 2014; both open 9am–10pm source. The range covers shirts, polos, trousers, blazers and shoes, and product names state the fit, such as Slim Fit or Regular Fit source. According to its about page, the brand has four stores across Hanoi and Saigon, plus online sales source.

Because WNS, Highway and 21ST URBAN are all on Dong Cac street, you can see streetwear and workwear on one street in one afternoon.

Women's designer labels

SBHN makes handcrafted womenswear from woven textiles and has shops at 135 Ba Trieu in Hanoi and in Ho Chi Minh City source. The label often ties a collection to a piece of Vietnamese heritage. Its "THE IMPERIAL" collection, shown on 22 October 2026, draws on Hue enamel and court plant motifs source. The brand's channel does not list opening hours for the Ba Trieu shop.

LINH BUI has a shop at 96 Trieu Viet Vuong, open 9am–9pm source. It posts almost daily, mostly little black dresses, silk chiffon dresses and lace pieces for work and evening events source.

21SIX Couture is a couture house making handmade evening gowns. Its Facebook page gives 2015 as the year it started, and its shop is at 216 Ba Trieu source source. The gowns are mostly tulle, silk taffeta and chiffon, with beading and 3D flowers source.

Ba Trieu and Trieu Viet Vuong streets are where this group meets, so they make a good route for women's designer clothes. Lavie's Vietnamese article on women's local brands goes deeper into sizing and fabrics: Local brand Hà Nội cho nữ (in Vietnamese).

Slow fashion and handmade

Kilomet109 is a slow-fashion label that states "Since 2012" and makes its own fabrics with craft communities, from fibre through to dye source. The flagship is at 64 Quang An in Tay Ho, open Tuesday to Sunday 10am–7pm and closed on Mondays source. On 21 October 2026, the brand showed its collection QUYÊN on the runway at Fashion Week Asia in Manila source source.

Craft Link is a non-profit, fair-trade organisation with a shop at 51 Van Mieu source. It sells handmade work by artisan groups, many of them from ethnic minority communities, such as embroidered linen dresses, linen áo dài and dyed silk scarves source source.

Vintage shops with their own label

Some Hanoi vintage shops also make their own pieces. The 27 Klub on Dao Duy Tu sells vintage military, outdoor and workwear clothes and has items under the 27 name, such as the 27 Garment cap source. Lộn Xộn Clothing does rework and custom pieces, many of them patchwork and close to one-offs source. These suit you if you do not want to run into someone wearing the same thing.

Multi-label stores: many local brands in one stop

To see several small Vietnamese labels at once, visit a concept store. oBJECTs in lane 76 Kim Ma Thuong is a multi-label store carrying contemporary Vietnamese and international labels source. Humanity on To Ngoc Van in Tay Ho sells work by Vietnamese brands and artisans source. No Concept at 17 Nha Tho mainly sells international menswear but has its own No Concept label source. Lavie's Vietnamese article on concept stores compares them: Concept store Hà Nội (in Vietnamese).

How to use this list

  • Try many labels at once: Dong Cac for streetwear and menswear, or Ba Trieu and Trieu Viet Vuong for women's designer clothes.
  • Buy something to keep for years: look at the slow-fashion and handmade group and read the product pages on fabric and dyeing first.
  • Avoid wearing what everyone else wears: try the vintage shops with their own lines or rework, such as The 27 Klub and Lộn Xộn.
  • Buy a gift: concept stores such as Humanity and oBJECTs gather many Vietnamese makers in one place.
  • Before you go: check opening hours on the brand's channel; several brands do not publish them or change them by season.
  • Prices: Lavie does not list prices. Ask the brand directly.

We will update this list when new brands qualify. Which group of Hanoi local brands would you like us to cover in more depth?
