Where to shop in Hanoi for clothes: vintage, local brands, streetwear and gifts

Where to shop in Hanoi for clothes, split by need: vintage, Vietnamese local brands, streetwear and gifts. Addresses from each shop's own channel.

Where to shop in Hanoi for clothes depends on what you need: one-off vintage and secondhand pieces, new clothes from Vietnamese local brands, streetwear and skate gear, or a gift that is clearly from Hanoi. This guide splits the shops listed on Lavie, a Hanoi shop directory, by those four needs. Every address and opening time comes from the shop's own website or social channel, linked next to each fact.

There is no ranking here. The order inside each section only makes it easier to read. Lavie does not publish prices, because they change by item and season, so ask each shop directly. All shops below posted on their official channels within the last two months,; we last checked them on 4 November 2026.

Two habits help everywhere. First, look at the shop's latest post before you go: small shops in Hanoi move more often than travel guides update, and several on this list moved during 2026. Second, opening hours are not always stated; where the shop has not published them, we say so.

Vintage and secondhand clothes

In Lavie's directory, the street with the most vintage shops close together is Dao Duy Tu in the Old Quarter. The 27 Klub at 34 and 35 Dao Duy Tu leans towards military, outdoor and workwear pieces, and has its own small line under the 27 name source. Next door, Lộn Xộn Clothing sells on the 2nd and 4th floors of number 35, mixing secondhand with patchwork rework pieces that are close to one-offs source. Chăn Con Công has shops at 37 and 11 Dao Duy Tu plus one at 7A Nha Tho source.

A few minutes away, 20 Grams Vintage moved to the 2nd floor of 49 Hang Trong in late October 2026 and opens 10am–10pm source. It sells selected secondhand clothes from the US, Japan and Korea source. For womenswear, Angel's House has two shops, at 11C Lo Ren and on the 2nd floor of 120 Hang Bong source. Vintage Hearts is on the 2nd floor of 28 Hai Ba Trung, open 10am–8pm source, and sells 1990s–2000s clothes, bags and belts source.

West of the Old Quarter, Ba Dinh has smaller shops in lanes. Khác Workwear | Vintage at 12 ngõ Hàng Bún (Hang Bun lane) specialises in used workwear and states "Since 2016" source. Moonie Thriftshop at 3 Chau Long goes in an alt-fashion direction, with boots, bags and accessories as well as clothes source. Ăn No Mặc Ấm at 108 Buoi street, open 9:30–22:00, mixes secondhand clothes with decor and handmade items source.

Lavie has a longer English guide to these shops, neighbourhood by neighbourhood: Hanoi thrift and vintage shopping guide.

New clothes from Vietnamese local brands

"Local brand" is the word Vietnamese shoppers use for home-grown labels. Many have a shop you can walk into in Hanoi.

For menswear, Highway Menswear was founded in Hanoi in 2012 source. Its first shop is at 100 Dong Cac and opens 9am–10pm source; the range covers shirts, polos, trousers and blazers, with the fit named on each product source.

For womenswear, SBHN makes handcrafted clothes from woven textiles and has a shop at 135 Ba Trieu source. LINH BUI has a shop at 96 Trieu Viet Vuong, open 9am–9pm source, and posts dresses for work and evenings almost every day source. 21SIX Couture at 216 Ba Trieu makes handmade evening gowns source.

For slow fashion, Kilomet109 states "Since 2012" and makes its own fabrics with craft communities, from fibre to dye source. Its flagship is at 64 Quang An in Tay Ho, open Tuesday to Sunday 10am–7pm and closed on Mondays source.

If you want to see many small labels in one stop, try a multi-brand shop. oBJECTs in a lane off Kim Ma Thuong stocks contemporary Vietnamese and international labels source, and No Concept at 17 Nha Tho mainly sells international menswear alongside its own label source.

Streetwear and skate

Dong Cac street in Dong Da district is an easy streetwear stop. WNS (Why Not Studio) is at 179 Dong Cac and signs off with "From HaNoi with love" source; most pieces carry the WNS logo source. 21ST URBAN at 52 Dong Cac has its own label and stocks small Asian labels source. Use only the domain 21sturban.com, which is the shop's official site source.

DirtyCoins, founded in 2017, describes its style as bringing hip-hop closer to the mainstream source. Its Hanoi shop is Duckzone at 180 La Thanh source. BOO has shops at 308 Ba Trieu and 110 Cau Giay, both open 9am–10pm source.

For skateboards, LB skateshop at 28 Quan Thanh says it has been a skater-owned shop since 2010 source. If you prefer used streetwear, OFC 2HAND in a lane off Chua Lang sells both secondhand and new pieces source.

Lavie's Vietnamese guide to streetwear goes into more detail: Streetwear Hà Nội (in Vietnamese).

Gifts and handmade pieces

If you want clothes or textiles that make a good present, look for shops that work directly with makers.

Craft Link at 51 Van Mieu is a non-profit fair-trade organisation source. It sells handmade work by artisan groups, many from ethnic minority communities, such as embroidered linen dresses and dyed silk scarves source.

Humanity at 47 ngõ 52 Tô Ngọc Vân (lane 52, To Ngoc Van) in Tay Ho sells work by Vietnamese brands and artisans: clothing, jewellery, ceramics, homeware and gifts source. Kilomet109's flagship is also in Tay Ho, at 64 Quang An source, so the two fit in one trip.

For a one-off gift, a vintage shop is worth a look too: Lộn Xộn's rework pieces are close to unique source. Lavie also has a Vietnamese article about gifts for foreign friends, including customs notes on antiques: Quà Hà Nội cho khách nước ngoài (in Vietnamese).

Practical tips before you go

  • Check the latest post. Shops move: 20 Grams moved in October 2026 source, and Ăn No Mặc Ấm moved to 108 Buoi street in July 2026 source.
  • Floors matter. Many shops are upstairs, so look for a staircase, not a shopfront. 20 Grams, Vintage Hearts and Lộn Xộn are all above street level.
  • Sizes. Some brands post sizes and colours per item, as WNS does source; with vintage, ask for real measurements instead of the label size.
  • Returns. Some secondhand shops say they do not accept returns source, so try things on before paying.
  • Prices. Lavie does not list prices. Ask the shop directly.
  • Group by area. Old Quarter for vintage; Dong Cac for streetwear and menswear; Ba Trieu for womenswear; Tay Ho for slow fashion and gifts.

Which of these four needs brought you to Hanoi's shops, and is there a shop you think should be on this list?
